Giving Thanks and Praise

St John's is hosting this Diocesan Stewardship Workshop:

The Giving Our Thanks & Praise Workshop is coming up on September 22, from 9 am – 3 pm, at St John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 154 Somerset Street West.  Clergy and lay leaders from the Cathedral, Ottawa Centre and Ottawa West deaneries are invited to participate.  

The day will be led by Susan Graham Walker. Susan has coordinated the development of the Giving Our Thanks & Praise program for the Anglican Church of Canada.  The program offers ideas for inspiring, inviting and thanking people in support of God’s mission. During the workshop you will be introduced to all of the tools your congregation requires to implement and/or build on a strong giving program grounded in Anglican theology and culture. Parish teams will walk away  with the first steps to effectively adapt and implement the program within their context.

Early bird registration is $15 by September 12, and the regular fee is $20 by September 19.  For parishes that register more than three people, the early bird registration fee of $15 applies to all of the registrants.
