St John's welcomes children!

On Sundays, the 8 am service features a Kids' Korner filled with activities, as well as opportunities for children to participate in whatever way they feel comfortable and are able. At 10.15 am, Godly Play for children is provided by trained volunteers during the first part of the service. Children are follow the cross to their activity room during the opening hymn, and return to the service in time for communion. There is a small space near the Elgin Street entrance for quiet activity, and we also have a nursery.

Throughout the year, special worship and events are available for families. Some of these include: advent wreath making, Christmas Eve Children's Bedtime Btory, Sunday skating, and parish hikes. Watch the events page for current details!

Baptism and confirmation, the sacraments of initiation to Christianity and membership in the Anglican Church, are always available for people of all ages. Please contact our Rector, the Reverend Gary van der Meer for more information.
